Eligibility and Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for admission into the M. Div. program at DBS, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree, either a Bachelor of Theology from a recognized university with a first or second class (B), or a Bachelor's degree (BA/ B.Com/ B.Sc/ BCA/ BSW/ BBM/ BBA) from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in English suitable for academic-level writing.
- Clearing entrance examinations and participating in personal interviews held on the DBS campus. The entrance exams will cover English, General Knowledge, and Christian Faith.
- Minimum age requirement of 20 at the time of admission.
- In special cases, mature candidates (25 years and above) with a 10+2 qualification and Ten years of ministerial experience may be admitted after successful completion of the qualifying assessment.

Program Duration and Residency at Doulos Biblical Seminary (DBS):
The Master of Divinity (M. Div.) program at Doulos Biblical Seminary (DBS) is structured as follows:
- M. Div. is a two-year residential program for students with a B. Th. degree.
- For secular graduates, the program duration extends to three years.
- Exceptions to these rules require prior permission from the Academic Committee of DBS. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the termination of candidates.
- Off-campus candidates are considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to the decision of the Admission Committee.
- The maximum time limit for completing all requirements is five years from the date of registration.
- The academic year runs from April to February annually.
- Due to the intensive nature of the course, students are expected to be free from responsibilities in organizations or churches during their residency.
Academic Requirements:
- Students must complete a total of 90 credits for the three-year program or 60 credits for the two-year program, spanning across six different areas.
- A minimum of 90% attendance is mandatory for each subject per semester. Failure to meet this requirement may result in debarment from examinations.
- Students must fulfill all academic and ministerial requirements.
Thesis:
- Writing a thesis is compulsory and carries six (6) credits. The thesis should be approximately 20,000 words in length.
- In the second year, at the end of the Second Semester, candidates must submit a thesis proposal to the Thesis General Mentor. The proposal will then be approved by the faculty committee.
- The thesis must be the original work of the candidate, meticulously proofread, and devoid of errors.
- The candidate should submit three copies of the thesis to the Thesis General Mentor.
- The college will assign a thesis mentor and an external reader. Both will evaluate the thesis, and the final grade will be the average of both evaluations.
